Planner Peek: Theresa
Today I am excited to bring you another Franklin Covey in my Planner Peek series! We're taking a Tour of Theresa's planner. I don’t know about you, but I just LOVE being able to sneak a peek inside other people’s planners. I love to see how they use them, how they decorate them, what type of planner they use, etc. I have asked my readers to submit photos of their planners and to tell us a bit about how they use their planning system. (You can submit your planner by filling out this really short and easy form. If you’re selected, you’ll get a free copy of the digital Sweet Life Planner worth $35!) All of the Planner Peeks in this series have been so fun to see.
Theresa uses a Franklin Covey binder with custom insert pages. It is a 7 ring binder with a front pocket and card slots. The dividers are from the Staples Martha Stewart collection.
Theresa uses her front page as her dashboard and it is inspired by her doxie, Angel.Since Theresa could not find the right kind of inserts that she wanted she decided that custom making them was the way to go! Her most favorite pens to use are the Staedtler Triplus Roller pens since they don't bleed through!
Theresa says, “I like to use my planner to keep me sane! My life is way too crazy to keep post it notes all over the place or in just a small notebook. I have tried many planners but always seem to come back to the binder design. On my month-on-two-pages, I love to use stickers to decorate for what typically happens in that month. I got creative and made my own stickers to reflect bills, appointments, and when the hamster cage needs cleaned.” I just love how Theresa customizes her planner to suit her tastes.
Theresa also likes to track her weight for the month and what workout program she is using. On her daily section, Theresa likes to put what day it is, other than just Monday-Sunday. Who doesn't like to see that it is Chocolate Sundae Day?! This makes her planner so much fun to use. What a creative idea! On the right side, she keeps track of her meals, school work and hydration in the small boxes. Soon, Theresa plans to start a blog and tracking for that will go in this section too.
My absolute favorite part of Theresa's planner is her “Pounds Lost” mason jar insert. Theresa said, “I have always seen these using a glass and marbles, but that's not convenient for me, so I made an insert to take with me wherever I go!” I love this part of her planner.
Theresa uses so many clever ideas for her very unique, customized planner. This tour was so much fun to take. Here's a complete look at her planner that you might just want to Pin.
What a fun tour we took today enjoying Theresa's Franklin Covey Planner. You might want to check out all the Planner Peeks in this series for more creative ideas.

I love the pounds lost insert! I have been trying to come up with a creative way to do this besides the normal marble way. This seems to be perfect! Thanks for the inspiration!

I just wanted to thank for this series and your blog! They have inspired me to develop my planner-keeping technique and get a better hold of my everyday life even though I had no interest of becoming a full-fledged Filofaxer or making my personal planner from scratch. 🙂
