Planner Peek: Diahana
I am excited to bring you another installment in the Planner Peek series! I don’t know about you, but I just LOVE being able to sneak a peek inside other people’s planners. I love to see how they use them, how they decorate them, what type of planner they use, etc. I have asked my readers to submit photos of their planners and to tell us a bit about how they use their planning system. (You can submit your planner by filling out this really short and easy form. If you’re selected, you’ll get a free copy of the digital Sweet Life Planner worth $35!) All of the Planner Peeks in this series have been so fun to see.
Diahana uses the Arc system for her planner. She has used other planners, but found Arc is just as good quality-wise and the cost is much better. Her Arc planner has been modified to include some of her own designs. Diahana also started researching and discovered my printable, which she has enjoyed using in her planner. I love seeing what people do with my printables from I Heart Planners.
Like most women, Diahana has a super busy life. She is a mom with two kids (ages 9 & 14), a health coach, has a corporate job and helps her husband run his small business. So, she uses her planner to keep it all organized. They are a very tech savvy family, but Diahana has also found the need for a physical planner. She uses her planner to keep her pre-client and coaching client notes, work notes, daily docket, meal planner, etc. She also likes to have her contacts handy because sometimes she needs to make a quick call or text and since she has lost info in her phone before, her planner is s a nice back up.
Diahana has the custom hole puncher that she uses all the time to fit sheets into her Arc planner. Diahana says, “I will print on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper, then cut in 1/2, then punch. I use decent card stock or a thicker paper a lot. It keeps the pages in nicely and I love the feel and texture it gives. The flimsy paper tears and doesn't work as well for my needs.”
Diahana uses the Arc lined pages for notes and the custom color tabs. She has decorated some of the tabs with stickers and a black sharpie to give them a little, “kick”. The Arc quality is good and enables Diahana to move the pages around, and take them in/out, which is really beneficial. Diahana will move pre-client notes over to client, or take out an file away old meeting notes that she is not ready to throw away.
You can see more of Diahana's busy life by going to her blog. With all the activities Diahana has going on, you can see why she needs her planner to keep her organized! Take a composite look at her planner.
