Organizing Small Spaces
No matter how big your home is, or the type of life you lead, we all have small spaces that are hard to organize. Maybe you're like me and your bathroom has absolutely NO storage. Or you have one extra room that needs to double as your home office and a guest room. Well, I've gathered some clever ideas for organizing small spaces that I think you'll enjoy and that will be easy to implement.

Utilize wasted space above the bathroom door by building a shelf to store extra bathroom supplies like towels or paper products. Do you have any “wasted space” in places in your home where you could add a shelf? Get creative and think differently about the space above your doors.

Murphy beds are a great way to make an extra room do double-duty. This unique one includes a floating shelf that you can keep your office supplies on while the bed is still in use.

I often get asked for ideas for how to organize in a small space. I admit it can be more challenging and require more creativity, but it can definitely be done. Even if your home is spacious, it’s always a good idea to maximize your space to use it most efficiently. One of the best ways to use space efficiently is to make sure you use all your vertical space. For example here in my linen closet, instead of just putting a basket on the shelf and leaving space above it, I used these stacking bins all the way to the top:

This is such a clever idea. Using a shower curtain rod and clips you can keep your bath products off your bathtub corners and have even easier access without needing to bend over.

Thanks for the great ideas! I just walked around my house looking for all the places where I could add a high shelf for extra storage. And I’ve been wanting to do the office-in-a-closet thing for a while now, maybe I’ll make that one a summer project.

The walls are decorated with a pop of bright colors and the white colored couch is placed at the one corner of my room. Please suggest me the rug which can go best with my living room.
