My Favorite Pinterest Scheduler
I recently shared my overall Pinterest strategy in a post about how I doubled my Pinterest in just a few months. However, I did not cover the mechanics of how I actually get my pins out there without spending hours a day on Pinterest. Fortunately, there are so many fabulous pin scheduling tools out there that you can totally make it look like you live on Pinterest while really only spending a few minutes a week there!
I have tried a lot of Pin scheduling tools and there are definitely pros and cons to each one. I've finally settled on a system that I'm pretty happy with. It requires minimal time and effort and gets pins out there pretty much the way I'd like.
Here's what I've tried as far as Pin scheduling goes:
* Ahalogy. For a long time I used Ahalogy exclusively. The biggest benefit to this is that you get extra bonus traffic from within the network. The downside is that it takes forever to actually schedule pins! They don't have enough content within their network (especially in my organizing genre), so I had to constantly go to Pinterest, find the content, go to the source, and use the Ahalogy toolbar button.
* Tailwind. I really do like Tailwind. I love how they space pins out and distribute them. It's also quick and easy to schedule straight from any source or from Pinterest itself on desktop. The biggest downside is that there really isn't a fast way to schedule pins on mobile. If there was, I'd definitely consider sticking with Tailwind.
*Boardbooster. I now use Boardbooster because once it's set up it runs almost magically on autopilot. Plus scheduling and adding new pins is a piece of cake on mobile or desktop because you just pin to a secret board and Boardbooster schedules from there.
It took me a little while to get Boardbooster to work exactly how I wanted. I wanted to loop my content on my top boards PLUS schedule new content from other blogs intermixed with my own content. Here's a video I recorded to show you exactly how I do it:
What about you? What's your favorite Pinterest scheduling tool?

I love board booster! I’ve been using it for a few weeks and my following has increased way more than it did with Tailwind

Laura, thanks so much for this tutorial! Setting up my BoardBooster account has been on my list of things to do for the last 3 months. I’m going through your video minute-by-minute and copying your settings for mine. 🙂
Do you only use the campaign tool to schedule pins to group boards?
LauraJane Says
Post authorI schedule to group boards with and also sprinkle my own content to my own board with it.

As a fellow blogger, for another website that is listed above, I was nominated for the Liebster award and I am also nominating you! You do not need to accept, FYI, but it is a fun way to let your fans get to know you a bit better! http://www.partyplanprosperity.com/i-have-been-nomi…e-liebster-award

I am brand new to Pinterest and doing a lot of research. before I found you, I had run into threads recommending Tail Wind, Boardbooster and Post Planner. Since I’m a noob trying to find my way, would you be so kind as to briefly explain what the differences are? From what I have been able to understand, a lot of folks like TailWinds, but it has limitations. So they use Boardbooster to help automate it altogether(?) Does this make any sense? lol Your advice is greatly appreciated. 🙂

Post authorI think tailwind and boardbooster are both good. It really just depends on personal preference.

Be it controlling the speed of the pins in the account, getting the best content updated, setting up the schedules for the pins for the whole week, or proofing my account to be ban-safe… I have got all these amazing things at one stop solution i.e., http://PinPinterest.com
Using it for months now and I am truly amazed at how my ratings have gone up, my followers have increased, my pin boards look amazing. And everything is just available through my mobile phone too thereby letting me keep a check whenever I need. I transfer days between my multiple accounts as per my convenience and needs.
