If you’ve been around long, I’m sure you’ve heard about the themed monthly printable packs that are available to all of our Sweet Life Society members. Admittedly, that’s a rather vague description of what you’re getting. So I decided to start a year-long series where I show you a page from the pack each month and give you some ideas on how to use it. This way you can see what you’ll be getting as soon as you decide to make the leap and join us in the Sweet Life Society!
This month our focus is on a brand new page that has been added to every pack: the Reflection Page
*you may ooh and aah here*
Life rushes by so quickly that we tend to jump from one thing to the next without pausing to see the progression and growth that is taking place. And if we are missing the big things like character development, we are almost certainly missing the little things like the books we’ve read or the foods we’ve eaten. Life is only composed of big and little things, so if we are missing both, we are missing life!
This simple page encourages you to slow down and contemplate what matters to you most right now. This page provides space to reflect on these eight areas:
Your favorite memory from the month
What you’re most excited for next month
Your current favorite song
A book you read this month
A yummy food you ate
A TV show enjoyed
Successes this month
Areas to improve next month
The beauty of taking a few moments to sit down and reflect on these areas is that it goes hand in hand with you keeping your goals. I know a lot of people who make it a goal to read more in the new year, but if you get to April and realize there isn’t any book you’ve enjoyed that month, you know to redouble your efforts for May. If you look back on the TV shows you’ve been watching and realize you don’t actually enjoy any of them, maybe it’s time to cut out one or two to make time for something else important to you.
This is merely a tool that can be used to help you however you choose to use it. I’m so excited to share it with you, and I hope you’re excited too!
