Happy 4th of July and a Quick Pantry Reorganization!
Happy 4th!
What did you do today? We hosted a cookout for a few friends.
I don’t have any festive pictures to share, but I did want to share a bit of organizing motivation. Do you ever have nagging little organization projects that you keep putting off for no good reason.
For several weeks, this one shelf in my pantry has been getting a little out of control. I just randomly throw things in there. I walk past many times a day, and it put a little frown on my face each time:
Well, after weeks of feeling sad each time I walked past it, I just randomly tackled it today. I timed how long it took me to reorganize the two shelves and toss out the old stuff. Guess what? It took 9 and a half minutes!! Really, I could have saved myself a lot of annoyance, if I had just taken those ten minutes as soon as I noticed it getting a little sloppy. When I was done it looked like this:
Also, just a reminder that tomorrow is the last day of my HALF OFF chalkboard label sale in my Etsy shop.

We had all our food on a lazy susan in the corner cabinet and it drove me nuts because there was so much unused space (the previous homeowners left it that way). We finally ripped it out, put in some plastic shelving and put the pots and pans in there. The old pot closet is now being used as our food cabinet. It’s better organized and I can see everything from the top. I feel so much better about it!
