I recently did a review of the closet system we got for the nursery, and now I’ll give you a tour of the complete nursery. The room is fairly small. The crib is to the right when you walk in the door, the next wall has the dresser, the next wall has the rocking chair, and the last wall is just the closet.
First, here’s the crib. My mom made the ruffle bedskirt for it. My best friend made another bedskirt that is sized for when we need to lower the mattress. I designed and cut the “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” quote out of black vinyl.
The quilt on the left is one my mom made to go with the nursery. I’m sorry I don’t have a great photo of it. This photo has a weird filter that I can’t get off:
Next, I made a couple shadow boxes to hang above the crib:
One of them has her monogram and the other a couple of her ultrasound photos with the “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” quote:
The dresser with a changing pad on top are on the next wall:
Next, we have the wall facing the outside of the house with pretty curtains that my friend Tara made for me:
The rocking chair was the same one my mom used when my brother and I were babies. It was a brown color with gold leaf detail and an orange color cushion. My husband spray painted it white, and Tara recovered the cushion for us:
