Get Organized Once & for All Introduction with Tasha
What do you envision when someone says, “Do you want to get organized?”or, “I’m going to help you get organized?”
Some things you might picture are a pantry with decanted food in clear acrylic containers with labels, clear countertops with no piles of paper, or knowing exactly where your keys and purse are when it’s time to go to work.

SPACE ORGANIZATION
That first image of the organized pantry is an example of space organization, and while our spaces do need to be organized, there’s a lot more to consider when we talk about being organized.
LIFE ORGANIZATION
Many times our time needs organized, our meal plan needs organized, or our finances need organized. This is life organization and this series, Get Organized Once and For All, is going to help you maintain all of those aspects of organization.
YOU’VE DONE THE WORK
The principles we are going to talk about during this series are going to help you with space organization, but they are going to help you even more when it comes to some of that life organization for the systems that you are implementing. You’ve done the work to set something up and put it in motion, and you want to make it last.
THE SECRET SAUCE
The secret sauce is getting up every morning and doing the morning routine. Or going back to the meal plan system you created and using it every week.
This series is going to help you with the follow through so that when that initial burst of energy passes, we have something that is going to last long term.
A COUPLE OF CAVEATS
Just because an organization system or an organized space lasts long term doesn’t mean it’s always going to look and function exactly as it does right now. Our systems and space will change as our season of life changes.
Also, there is no magic fix. There is nothing you will hear that is brand new information. Unfortunately, it really comes down to the basic nuts and bolts that you already know. They aren’t flashy and exciting, but they do work.
EVEN IF YOU DON’T HAVE SYSTEMS IN PLACE
You may be thinking that this all sounds great, but you don’t have those organized spaces or systems in place. The good news is these principles can still help you.
No matter where you are starting, you can still apply these principles and if you focus on maintaining your space, that is something that you can build on and continue to maintain.
ACTION STEP
Here’s a practical action step you can take today. Look around your space and come up with one to three things you can do today to set yourself up for tomorrow. It doesn’t have to be something that takes a long time or that is hard, but do one or two things to set yourself up for success tomorrow.
