Best Products for Small Kitchen Organization

Small kitchen organization is tricky. You have to use your space wisely in order to neatly keep all the things you need in your cabinets, without overflowing!

Nesting Bowls Set

I had had my eye on this nesting bowl set for a while before I finally got it for myself. I love the eye-catching, colorful design! It includes nine different pieces that all nest perfectly together: a large mixing bowl, a strainer, a sieve, a small mixing bowl, 1 cup, ½ cup, ⅓ cup, and ¼ cup measuring cups, and a tablespoon. 

Cutting Board File

This is probably my favorite item in this review! It’s a set of four cutting boards that slide nicely, like files, into a stand-up holder. They have little index tabs that are labeled by what you should use the cutting board for to avoid cross contamination: vegetables, fish, raw meat, and cooked food. 

Can Opener

I know that a standard can opener doesn’t take up all that much space, but I have become slightly obsessed with this awesome little can opener. Yes, it’s super duper small so it’s easy to store in any drawer, but it also holds onto the lid when you open the can until you press the button to release the lid. It’s SO much nicer than a standard can opener that just drops the lid straight into the can. 

Magnetic Utensils 

This utensil set is a great space saving item. It includes a ladle, a spoon, a slotted spoon, a spaghetti scoop, and a spatula. Each utensil magnetizes to the other, and they can all be stored hanging upright on the included stand. Or, you could simply lay them together in a drawer and they wouldn’t take up much space at all! 

Dish Brush 

The dish brush from Joseph Joseph is another item that will only make a small difference in terms of space, but it is an incredibly unique idea. Instead of having to rest your brush on the counter by the sink, this brush has a special handle designed to rest of the edge of the sink so the brush hangs down into the sink. Like I said, it won’t make or break your space in the kitchen, but it is nifty! 

Collapsible Dish Drying Rack

The last item on the list is the collapsible dish drying rack. To be honest, this is the item I was the most disappointed with. It’s not the standard countertop depth – if it stretched out a little further it would be a much better use of space. There’s also no way to rest anything upright on it, so it’s hard to get dishes to drain. But, on the plus side, it collapses down to ⅓ of the size so it won’t take up much space on the counter when it’s not in use.
