Top Finds from My Wedding Registry
Tasha here from the Get Organized HQ team!
In case you hadn’t heard the news, I got married a few months ago!
As Daniel and I settle into our home and enjoy all the lovely gifts our friends and family gave us, I wanted to share a few items we received off our wedding registry that I think you will love too! (This post does contain affiliate links, but the products listed are truly my favorites!)
Even if you’re not getting married or shopping for a bridal shower, these are great any-occasion gifts! Maybe you’ll even find a little something to pick up as a treat for yourself. You can click below to watch the video or keep reading!
Mason Jar Soap Dispenser
This soap dispenser is an affordable and fun way to add some farmhouse flair to your sink. It’s held up great for us so far, and I I think it’s so much cuter than the plastic bottles you get at the store.
Progressive International ProKeeper Baking Set
These food storage containers are another alternative to OXO and Tupperware (you can read the OXO vs Tupperware review here!) I think they’re a perfect middle of the road solution! One of my biggest complaints about OXO is that the seal doesn’t stay tight when you put items like flour or powdered sugar in the container. My biggest complaint about Tupperware is that you don’t get the crisp acrylic look. The seal on these has stayed incredibly tight AND you get the acrylic look. They don’t stack modularly, but I love them and I highly recommend them!
Teal Rolling Cart
It’s no secret that the Get Organized HQ team loves rolling carts. Laura did an entire review of rolling carts back here, and she actually gave me this one as a gift! Teal is totally my color, and I’ve been using it as some extra kitchen storage.
Paula Deen Pitcher
So this item technically doesn’t belong on this list because it was a little treat I picked up for myself on our honeymoon, but it’s so cute and I had to share. It’s just a little pitcher that reads “Fresh Squeezed Sunshine Y’all” – I got it at the Paula Deen store, and I’m using it to store my utensils. But it is dishwasher safe, so you could use it to serve lemonade or sweet tea.
Laundry Basket On Wheels
It’s a laundry basket, and it rolls. Need I say more!? I love how easy it is to get laundry from the bedroom to the washer and back with this rolling laundry basket.
Oven Liner
I wish I knew these existed years ago! It may not look fancy, but this oven liner will save an awful lot of elbow grease. You simply lay the mat along the bottom of your oven, and it will catch anything that spills over. If you’re moving out or if the liner gets too dirty, you can just pull it out and clean it or toss it. No more climbing halfway in the oven to scrub!
Amazon Alexa
I know these little devices aren’t new to the market, but they’re new to me! I love asking Alexa to play music or to “remind me to set out chicken to thaw at 8:00 AM tomorrow”. She’s a super handy assistant to have around!
12 Qt Calphalon Stock Pot
I love having people in our home! Dinner parties and game nights and Bible studies and house guests – I just love sharing our home with people! This pot is great for making a huge batch of sweet tea or soup! If you’re cooking for a crowd (or even just a large family) the biggest pot that generally comes in a set is probably barely big enough. This one definitely takes up some storage space, but you can make so much with it!
McCook Knife Block
I will admit, I’m not a connoisseur of knives, but I can tell a big difference between these knives and the cheap-o ones I used before. If you’re looking for a mid-tier upgrade to your knives, I’d definitely recommend giving this set a try.
Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista
I'm really, really picky about my coffee. My Starbucks order has many particularities, but truth is, I skipped getting my free drink on my birthday cuz I truly enjoy this more! It has a built in milk frother so it can quickly make a latte or cappuccino, and my husband just drinks a straight double shot of espresso most mornings. I recommend getting it from Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon!
Hopefully this list gave you some fun gift ideas! I’m still settling in to my new home, so if there’s a must-have item that I left off this list, let me know in the comments!

Good morning Laura!
Thank you for sharing Tasha’s wedding photo. I used to live in Bloomington IN, Fort Wayne and Huntertown as my time as a Hoosier. I’m now back in my home town in Lewiston Michigan. I enjoy all your fabulous tips and organizational ways. I appreciate everything you have done to make my life and others smoother. HUGE VIRTUAL HUG AND THANK YOU AGAIN.

I have those same containers. I used my vinyl cutter to make cute labels to label my containers.
