The Top Highest Rated Organizing Products on Amazon (Tested!)
I ordered the top highest rated organizing products on Amazon and tested them out to see if they're actually worthy of all those 5 star reviews. Keep reading or watch the video here to see what lives up to the hype!
1. Joyroom Self-Adhesive Cord Hooks
I am always fighting with charging cables. I have used a few different types of cord hooks to help keep cords from falling on the floor. One thing I love about these cord hooks by Joyroom is that there's a little “door” that opens so you can put the cord in.
They are self-adhesive and claim to not cause damage if you remove them. I tested that, and I'm happy to report that they stuck well but popped right off leaving no damage when I took them off! I'll definitely be keeping these– 5 stars!
2. Plastic Drawer Organizers

I have tried literally TONS of different types of drawer organizers. I love these because they're clear, but they also have fun colors if you prefer that. The price is great, too.
Perhaps my favorite thing about these is that they don't slide around in the drawers! You do have to stick on the little rubber feet, but that really isn't hard to do. Once they're in the drawer, you can even slam the door shut, and they don't move!

The only thing I'm not crazy about is that they angle outward at the top and get smaller toward the bottom. This is a cheaper way to make things like this because they nest, which means that packaging and shipping is sooo much easier and cheaper for the manufacturer. You do lose space this way, though. However, most organizers are like this, so it isn't the end of the world.

The other thing I would change if I could is to be able to buy the different sizes individually. They're only sold in sets, so if you need more long or big or small dividers, you can't buy the exact combination that you need. However, the price is so good on these, and they have many different sizes of sets. So, my verdict on these is that I'm keeping them. I absolutely love how they function. I even swapped out the organizers in my daughter's bathroom and a few in my kitchen because they perform so well– 5 stars!
3. Magnetic Measuring Spoons
![]()
I've had magnetic measuring spoons for a while now, and I love them. They have a round and an oval measuring scoop at either end. There's a full set of measuring amounts (more than your average set of four measuring spoons, so less math if you need an odd amount of something!).
The magnet is strong, so they stay together in the drawer. And it's really cute, LOL! I have a set in gold that coordinates with my kitchen, but the rainbow set is also adorable. I'm keeping both because we can always use some extra measuring spoons when we're baking. Verdict– 5 stars!
4. Adhesive Shower Caddy

I was highly skeptical of this shower caddy because it just seems like something that's self-adhesive in a wet environment should not be able to hold heavy things like large shampoo bottles. However, they're really sturdy, and they're very easy to install.
You just stick the self-adhesive back to a smooth surface like tile or a fiberglass shower. Push out all the air bubbles and let it rest. Then you can hang the shower caddy and place your bottles in it. So far, so good! Nothing has fallen, and I plan to put a few more of these up in my kids' shower– 5 stars!
5. Amazon Basics Slim Velvet Hangers

I can't say enough good things about these hangers! They are slim, so they don't take up an unnecessary space in your closet. The velvet is good quality and keeps clothes from slipping off. I haven't had any velvet flaking off, either. I also like that it has little notches for tops with camisole straps or with ribbons to help hold the clothes on hangers.
I absolutely love the way these perform and they way they look in my closet– 5 stars!
6. Collapsible Clothes Hamper

We currently use plastic hampers at my house. These canvas hampers are much cuter and come in different colors. My first impression of these is that they're a little floppy. They do stand up with the stiffer fabric, but they're definitely not as sturdy as our plastic hampers.
I like that they have handles to make carrying it to the washer easier. However, I can't ever think of an instance where I would want to collapse the hamper, so I think I'd rather have something a bit sturdier than having it easily collapse. I do like these, and I'll keep them because they're cute, but I'm only giving these 4.5 stars.
7. Command Hooks (Medium)
Command Hooks are one of my all time favorite products!! I've used the strips and the hooks for years now, and I can't say enough good things about them! I'm adding a couple hooks to my daughter's closet door, but I also use them to hang pictures or wall decor.
If you install them according to the directions, they hold well, and they allow damage-free removal! You do have to follow directions, though! You're supposed to apply firm pressure for 30 seconds when attaching it to the wall, and then wait a full 24 hours before hanging anything on it. This waiting period is important (ask me how I know, LOL!).
If you want to take it off, it's important to pull the strip down, not directly out– this will cause damage. If you pull down, you won't know it was ever there. These are so useful, and I have them on hand all the time– 5 stars!
8. Collapsible Storage Bins

These fabric storage cubes easily fold flat, and they will fit many different styles of bookcases, but they are a perfect fit for the Ikea Kallax bookcases. I tested them out with my kids' toys, and they are sturdy and are a perfect fit. They are medium weight and not saggy. I'll definitely keep these– 5 stars!
9. Rubbermaid Brilliance Containers
I've had these Rubbermaid containers in my kitchen for quite a while now, and I love them. They latch, so the lids don't fall off, and they are truly airtight. They're modular, so they store nicely in a drawer. They're sturdy and clear, so you can see what's inside them.
They are also dishwasher and microwave safe. I don't do this personally, but I did test it out for you. I don't like heating plastic of any kind, but when I did microwave them, they came out hot, but manageable. It didn't seem to damage them, either.
When I ran them through the dishwasher, they did come out clean with no visible damage. However, I'm just not fond of dishwashing them. No matter what, dishwashers and microwaves will shorten the life span of your plastic over time. However, if ease of use is more important, they are inexpensive enough that you could just replace them every few years once they're worn out– 4.5 stars!
10. Lifewit Zipper Storage Bags

I've not regularly used a zipper container product like this before, but I could see it being useful for storing some of the things we use for guests- extra blankets, pillows, etc. They would stay cleaner and less dusty in something like this.
I tested it out with a quilt and with pillows. The zipper is sturdy, and they're good for what they are. However, since they're not rigid, what you put in them either has to be folded exactly right, or things stick out at odd angles.
I think they're good for the type of product they are, but I just don't think I like them well enough to use them in my house- 3.7 stars.
11. Kitchen Sink Caddy

I have something similar from TikTok Shop that we already use. However, I tested out this new sink caddy from Amazon. I think a lot depends on the sizes of things you need to store in your caddy. This particular one didn't work as well for us as the one we already had.
However, I do really like the tray on this one. It drains from one little spout, which is nicer than mine that drains the whole tray. Mine can get scooted back on accident, and then it drains on the counter. This one with the little spout would prevent that from happening. However, it doesn't hold my particular product size combination well, so I'm not going to switch mine out– 4.5 stars.
My Top 3 Favorites
I loved almost all these- which shows reviews and ratings are super reliable! However, if I had to pick just three things from this list, here is what I would choose:
1. Drawer Organizers
I LOVE these things! The sizes are great, and the non-slip feature is amazing. I'm thinking about switching a bunch of mine out for these.
2. Command Hooks
I don't know how I'd hang wall art or pictures without these, and I use the hooks everywhere. I can't recommend them enough.
3. Velvet Hangers
Switching to these hangers really transformed my closet. Everything looks so uniform and pretty, and nothing slides off anymore. It's like going into a boutique every time I go in my closet. I love them!

Laura, I will be buying the cable holders; I have similar on nightstands, but these are better.
I have the magnetic measuring spoons. I bought them several years ago, and matching magnetic measuring cups ! They are green and white which makes them easier to stack. They are one of my most practical kitchen tools.
I am more particular about hangers than “Mommie Dearest. ” 🙂
I bought flocked hangers several years ago, with two great features. The hanger is one complete unit; the hook is continuous, not metal and not separate, and they are magnetic !
They are not noisy when sliding on a metal rod.
They stay neatly together, when I put them in my hanger bag, to go to laundry room in my condo.
The brand is, Attractive Hangers, ( odd name.)
I was able to buy them, a second time, but not able to, again.
I have padded hangers, wooden hangers, and foam hangers,.
Wire and plastic tubular hangers were donated years, ago.

Thank you for making a blog post as well as a video. I really hate watching videos and prefer to read at my own pace.

I don’t know how I can already have about 80% of these items from Amazon and STILL not be anywhere near organized…. sigh

LOVE Rubbermaid Brilliance and they have a glass option, as well, should anyone prefer those, especially when it comes to foods you may want to microwave. Added bonus, they’re made in the USA!!!
I feel you on those plastic drawer organizers, as well. I have found a brand I truly enjoyed that I came across in Walmart and they have like these little… lips, I guess you could call them, that would latch under the lip of another container. Hard to describe, but I like them… they do slide around however, so I have remedied that with like a grip mat. I just tried to see if there’s a label anywhere on the plastic, but I haven’t been able to find it. I’m so sorry. Either way, they’re just OK, because again, they do slide around and though they’re modular, they tend to be a pain for me when I want to grab one and then have to try to stick it back the way I had it.
LOVE your content!

I have the same three things that you like best and I agree with you whole-heartedly.

We have two of the collapsible hampers which we use in our travel trailer. They work great after our 2-week vacation each year as we can just take the dirty laundry in when we get home.
I also have the Zipper Storage Bags. Again, when we do our 2-week vacation in the travel trailer we each pack one of these Storage Bags with our clothes and toiletries (the ones that don’t live in the trailer). It is easy to carry everything when loading the trailer and we can each find our stuff when needed.
