Planning Should Be Fun
Welcome to part 3 of my year long series where through the year I will share with you each element of the monthly packs available to our Sweet Life Society members!
Admittedly “monthly pack” is a rather vague description of what you’re getting. So I hope this series provides clarification and gives you some ideas on how to use each piece of the pack. This way you can see what you’ll be getting as soon as you decide to make the leap and join us in the Sweet Life Society!
Now bear with me, because when you hear what the focus area for this month is you’re going to ask, “How on earth does that apply to planning!?”
Are you ready for it…?
The coloring page.
Yep, that’s right folks. Each monthly pack comes with a coloring page. This is new to the 2019 packs, so those of you who are already members may have already seen that black and white quote page.
Now I’ll be honest: this page has next to nothing to do with planning. *gasp*
I could sit here and try and spin a tale about how the motivational quotes we’ve chosen actually make you more productive, and how coloring them gives you more time to dwell on these insights. Or I could try and convince you that releasing creative juices through coloring will make you more productive later. But I don’t really believe either of those statements, so I’m not going to say them to you!
At the end of the day, your planner is yours.
It can be messy. It can be fun. It can be colorful. It can be written in with ruler and protractor so everything is aligned one day and can be scribbled on in red crayon the next day. I merely want to encourage you to not get mixed up in the nitty gritty details of making your planner “perfect”…or like that one you follow on Instagram…
This planner is yours and yours alone. So if you like a pop of creativity and color here and there, then snatch up this page and take 10 minutes to color it in. I can assure you that you have 10 minutes to spare, and you may be surprised at the happiness that comes out of doing something just because it’s fun!

How do you attached the free printable to the discbound planner? Do you need a special punch?
Tasha Whitsitt Says
We recommend the Arc punch and then you can just slide it right into your planner!
