Planner Peek: Viktoria
I am so excited to bring you another installment in the Planner Peek series! I don’t know about you, but I just LOVE being able to sneak a peek inside other people’s planners. I love to see how they use them, how they decorate them, what type of planner they use, etc. I have asked my readers to submit photos of their planners and to tell us a bit about how they use their planning system. (You can submit your planner by filling out this really short and easy form. If you’re selected, you’ll get a free copy of the digital Sweet Life Planner worth $35!) All of the Planner Peeks in this series have been so fun to see.Viktoria is a stay-at-home mom with three daughters, ages four, seven and nine years and she always has a lot of things to do and remember.
Last year she used a Filofax (Saturnus), and it was really good for her, but Viktoria found that sometimes she just needed more space for writing down the things she needed to do. She has discovered a Secret Planner from a Hungarian company (Dolce Blocco).
Her favorite feature on this planner is it has a planner page for every week! She says, “It's great, because every week I have several to do things that doesn't have a certain day to get done, it is okay to do some time during the week. Also, I write here the important things that I need to know about that week's meetings” In the past, Viktoria would write down these things on a piece of paper, but unfortunately, often times she would lose these papers. She has found that writing everything down in her planner keeps it all in one place and she does not lose her planner!
There are monthly planner pages on the first few pages of Viktoria's planner. This is where she writes what they had for dinner. She likes to see what was the most liked meals each month. Next year she plans to go back and read what they ate in March, for example, to help her plan her meals to include seasonal vegetables.
Viktoria's planner also has “a mixture page” for the coming month where she can write what birthdays and other anniversaries will be in that month, what goals and other things she needs to do and other stuff. It's really nice to see through the whole month and see what are the most important things to be done during that month. She includes a lot of things without dates, which are just things that need to to get done in that month. Viktoria prefers writing them down on the monthly page and not on a certain date or week.
The last pages of the planner are blank. This is where Viktoria writes miscellaneous stuff, such as planning her daughter's birthday party and things for the summer school holiday. Viktoria can also keep track of her blog with her planner, if she chooses. This planner also has a bookmark band stitched in the planner. This is a great feature so you always know where to find the current week.
Viktoria says, “This planner fits me (my life) perfectly so I'm really glad I found this type of planner. Now my life is more organized and I won't go anywhere without my planner! If I leave it at home I feel like I just left my brain and memory ;)” Don't we all feel that way about our planners!
