Planner Peek: Melissa
I have another exciting installment of the Planner Peek series! I don’t know about you, but I just LOVE being able to sneak a peek inside other people’s planners. I love to see how they use them, how they decorate them, what type of planner they use, etc. I have asked my readers to submit photos of their planners and to tell us a bit about how they use their planning system. (You can submit your planner by filling out this really short and easy form. If you’re selected, you’ll get a free copy of the digital Sweet Life Planner worth $35!)
Melissa is the designer of today's planner. She uses a Daytime Flavia. In the front of her planner, Melissa has sitcky notes, loose paper and business cards. She then puts a screen before the dashboard, which has three paper clips and two sticky tabs, followed by her note section.
Melissa puts her notes first because she is always writing down information and ideas that she does not want to have to thumb through her planner to find, which is obviously why she makes this the first tab she sees.
Melissa then has her cleaning list so she can see what she needs to do each morning. She also has a yearly birthday calendar and always knows who has an upcoming birthday. After that, Melissa has her calendar to look at all her “to-do's” so she can prepare herself for the day. The next section is specifically information for her son's school, including phone numbers and information from the school.
Melissa's planner has the bill section. This shows her what bills she has marked paid and what bills have not been paid to-date. After that, comes the Scripture section. Melissa jots down scriptures that stand out and have influenced her. She rotates these Scriptures references about every three months.
Melissa definitely has a lot packed into her planner! Here is one more composite peek if you would like to pin it:
