Planner Peek: Lindsay
I am excited to bring you another installment in the Planner Peek series! I don’t know about you, but I just LOVE being able to sneak a peek inside other people’s planners. I love to see how they use them, how they decorate them, what type of planner they use, etc. I have asked my readers to submit photos of their planners and to tell us a bit about how they use their planning system. (You can submit your planner by filling out this really short and easy form. If you’re selected, you’ll get a free copy of the digital Sweet Life Planner worth $35!) All of the Planner Peeks in this series have been so fun to see.
Lindsay says she is addicted to organizing and, more specifically, anything that has to do with organizers and stationery. As a graduate student, her planner has multiple functions. Her junior discbound planner from Staples (click here to see how the discbound system works and here to buy planner inserts for your junior discbound) is used for her schedule, notes for class, keeping track of her freelance projects, fitness tracking and tracking her blog, Diary of a Coffee Addict.
Lindsay created a manilla folder pocket area to keep track of her thesis research, as well as making pockets on each of the dividers out of scrapbook paper and washi tape to hold related items.
She also created her own calendar pages that lets her sort daily events by category, as well as track what fitness she has done for that day.
In the past, Lindsay has not stuck with a planner before using this one. Lindsay has found that she loves getting creative with stickers/washi tape/etc. She has also put motivational cards throughout and it's been fantastic seeing them. I totally agree with Lindsay – adding splashes of color with stickers and washi tape makes using my planner so much fun. Inspirational sayings sprinkled throughout give added motivation to sticking with my planner.
Seeing Lindsay's creativity is so encouraging for my own personal planner. I love seeing all the unique ideas other people have for customizing their planners.
I just love taking these planner peek tours. For even more inspiration with your planner, check out all the Planner Peeks in this series.
