Planner Peek: Jana
I love this week's installment in the Planner Peek series! I don’t know about you, but I just LOVE being able to sneak a peek inside other people’s planners. I love to see how they use them, how they decorate them, what type of planner they use, etc. I have asked my readers to submit photos of their planners and to tell us a bit about how they use their planning system. (You can submit your planner by filling out this really short and easy form. If you’re selected, you’ll get a free copy of the digital Sweet Life Planner worth $35!) All of the Planner Peeks in this series have been so fun to see.
Jana started making her own planners about five years ago. It has gone through several revisions since then and likely will go through several more, but she likes where she is with it right now. Jana started her DIY planner by make a fun new cover at the beginning of the year. She downloaded some cute digital papers and created and printed a fun cover on cardstock. I just love how it looks.
Inside Jana has a weekly spread on the right, then on the left is what she calls her journaling page. She uses the weekly boxes of her planner to write out the big events. The stuff she cannot forget to do or the stuff that happened that she wants to remember. She uses the journaling pages to remember things she is loving that week or interesting things that happened to her. Jana uses the empty side for to-do lists, errands, etc.
Jana loves to make and print on post it notes, which she stores on the inside of the front and back covers. I recently blogged about how to print on sticky notes. It is so easy!
You can read even more about Jana's DIY Planner on her blog, Jana's Life and Loves. I love her creativity, her use of color and sticky notes and her journaling page. This is a one-of-a-kind planner and inspires me for my own personal planner.
I just love taking these planner peek tours. For even more inspiration with your planner, check out all the Planner Peeks in this series.
