Organized Office Spaces Round-Up
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is always on the lookout for ways to make my office space function better, look better and stay organized longer. We've been in our new house awhile now, and I'm still figuring out how to make it work best for me and my family and how our lives look now. In my hunting for inspiration, I found some amazingly functional, organized and beautiful spaces that I just had to share them with you here. You're going to want to save these organized office spaces, hacks and tips for later, I promise!
Here are 6 of my favorites.
Clear Desk Trays from Just Destiny Mag
Her tutorial showing you how to add a pop of color and unique labels to your traditional acrylic desk trays just blew me away. I love this idea, and the fun bright colors she chose. It's a simple, but effective way to get organized and add some visual interest to your desk.
De-Stress Your Desk from Martha Stewart Living
Of course Martha Stewart is one of my favorite places to look for organization tips. I thought this post with 4 tips about how to de-stress your desk was very helpful and her tips were simple to implement. I especially liked the tip about color-coding things to add urgency and categories to things. Genius!
Desk Drawer Organization from I Heart Planners
Here is one of my own posts I wanted to include in this round-up. It shows my old office in our last home, but the principles and ideas are totally steal-worthy! It can be hard to keep all gadgets contained and prevent drawers from becoming a total junk drawer. The true test of a great organizational system is if it remains organized many weeks later, and this really did!
Home Office Reveal from Frazzled Joy
I love how clean and organized this home office reveal is. It shows how you can totally use what you already have, show it a little love, move things around to make them flow better and end up with a function, organized and beautiful space. A couple of my favorite things: the pattered paper added to the back of the bookshelf and the wire hanging file holder on the wall.
Stunning Work Studio from Decor8
The bright colors, all the natural light, and the huge pegboard wall made this studio/office space one of my favorites. This post is also a great example of using your tools and supplies as decoration and art themselves in your space. If it's something you use regularly, buy a pretty one so you like leaving it out on your desk or easily within reach.
How to Create an Organized Office from Must Have Mom
I bet you can tell I picked this gorgeous office because I love the color turquoise! The pops of color and clean furniture help make this room seem bigger. And I absolutely love her craft cabinet that has a pull-out table and a ton of storage space. I love it when things are functional, but can still be beautiful. This office space totally counts.

We just moved and I’m still trying to get my home office set up, the biggest challenge is my little cat like to play godzilla and run around on it knocking things over! It seems like the moment I get everything nice and tidy, he flops over on it, knocking everything to the floor. He doesn’t care for boxes, otherwise I could designate a kitty box so he has his own space.

These are great spaces.
That adorable white chair in the last photo? I just found one at a thrift store for $25 – this exact chair and am sitting it in now and it is comfy and so cute in my studio!
I’ve been wondering if I can find a way to incorporate one of those IKEA carts in here too.

Really great tips for those who don’t have enough space on the table. I will definitely do it with my own. Sometimes this makes it difficult to find important things on the table due to lack of space on the table.
