SKÅDIS – Currently $19
This fun twist on a pegboard is a great way to make use of vertical space. With options for cups, small shelves, and even a bluetooth speaker, this board will let you store almost anything on your wall. It's decorative and functional at the same time.
VARIERA – Currently $21.99
My favorite thing about this flatware organizer is the built in space for holding knives. No knife block on the counter and no jumble of knives in the drawer! And if you have IKEA cabinetry these will fit in your drawers like a glove.
KUNGSFORS – Currently $26.97
I absolutely love this kitchen storage system! You start with a simple rail and can add hanging hooks, containers, and even a tablet holder. This particular starter kit comes with the rail, five hooks, and a rectangular canister.
IKEA 365+ – Currently $5.99
IKEA has come out with their own line of pantry and food storage simply called IKEA 365+. These canisters are tall and skinny and are great for storing a variety of dry goods.
MALMBÄCK – Currently $12.99
These ledge shelves are great for kids and adults alike! The edge of the shelf curves up so pictures and books can easily be displayed without danger of them accidentally slipping off. They're perfect to use in kids rooms for easy book access, while still keeping the space organized and beautiful. They're great for function and decoration.
HEMNES – Currently $299
IKEA has some great furnature pieces that include a ton of extra storage. This daybed is one of my favorites. Not only are daybeds a great way to display fun and playful throw pillows, this twin frame comes with three under-bed storage drawers to maximize space. A daybed can be a great choice for an office or guest room because it can fuction as a bed and a couch depending on your needs and how you dress it. Multi-purpose is my favorite.
VARIERA – Currently $0.49/sq ft
This is a seemingly insignificant product but it’s helpful to me on a daily basis! This anti-slip mat can be cut to fit your kitchen drawer and will keep your utensils and cookware from slipping around.
ANNANSTANS – Currently $29.99
This is such a fun item! A giant basket great for storing extra pillows and blankets in a decorative way. A genius way to keep those extras organized and not all strewn about your livingroom.
KUGGIS – Currently $3.99
If you’ve been around the I Heart Planners Community for long, these storage bins probably look familiar! I use them to organize my office shelves (which you can click here to read more about). They're so versatile, solid white (which is perfect for adding labels) and come in a variety of usable sizes. In short, I love them and highly recommend them!
ALEX – Currently $129
These drawer units are a great stand-alone office organizer, or if you have IKEA’s desk system, they can be built right into your desk. They come in all shapes and sizes so be sure to shop around! The drawers roll in and out really easily, which is a big plus for me. They're perfect for storing projects in process that just need to be out of the way, kids art supplies, or even makeup and bathroom organization.
DRÖNA – Currently $3.99
This is your classic cube storage bin. They fit perfectly in IKEA's shelving units and are made from a heavy sturdy canvas material. I especially like how these cubes are collapsible for easy storage (or moving!) and also have a lip on the front to make pulling the bin in and out easier.
I hope you enjoyed our trip to IKEA! There's nothing quite like their showroom, and if you haven't had a chance to experiece in person I would highly recommend it. It's like an adult playground. Just make sure you drive a vehicle large enough to bring home all your purchases in. ?

Thanks for sharing this! Ikea saved my kitchen. Post-renovation, it’s still very organized since I have so much drawer and cabinet space and several Varieras to organize cutlery, the junk drawer, etc. You gave me some great ideas on how to apply the same thinking to my home office: larger storage units like the filing cabinet to hold papers combined with “innards” to organize things inside. Thanks for helping me think outside the box!

Thanks for this! I love Ikea so much. I use the raskog carts for my kids’ clothes instead of dressers (I fold the pants and shirts Marie Kondo style instead of stacking). It’s great because I can wheel them in my room at night after the kids are asleep, fold laundry, load them up, and return them to their closets.

Love IKEA, unfortunately (or lucky for my bank account) there isn’t one near me. Will definitely make another trip soon though as we are trying to sort all my craft supplies and try and get them all in one place!

Sigh!! We have no IKEA near my home. I can only read and drool. Do they have a catalogue or mail order?
