Homebody Gift Guide
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I think it’s safe to say that no matter who you are, you’ve probably spent more time at home this year than you anticipated. But there are so many things that make home a lovely place to be! Below are some gift ideas for the homebody in your life – and who knows, maybe you’ll find a thing or two for your wish list as well!
Enjoy watching Laura describing all these great gift ideas by clicking below or you can continue reading! This post does contain affiliate links, but please know I only recommend products I truly believe in.
Homebody by Joanna Gaines
How could I create a Homebody Gift Guide without including Joanna Gaines book: Homebody!? My personal favorite part of books like this one is all of the gorgeous pictures. It makes it a great piece to set on a coffee table for anyone to pick up and flip through. You can get a copy here.
Designer in a Binder
If you have a friend who is moving, remodeling, or redecorating, then Designer in a Binder was made for her! This binder comes with all the tools to design spaces you love – including a stencil and graph paper to draw in sketches of the furniture to scale. It comes in a gorgeous box, so it would truly be ready to stick under the Christmas tree as is! Click here to find it.
Cable Knit Blanket
Nothing says home like a cozy blanket. I found this sherpa lined, cable knit blanket at Aldi. Unfortunately, Aldi’s stock varies from week to week, so you can check your local store, but they may be out of stock. But you can find a similar item here or here – pair it with some hot cocoa and a good Hallmark Christmas movie and you’ve created the perfect winter evening!
Homebody Essentials Tee
You can get a t-shirt for any occasion – including celebrating your love for home! You can find this Homebody Essentials Tee from Callie Danielle here (and be sure to check out her holiday collection as well!)
Sweet Life Society
Want to win the award for “The Gift That Gave All Year Long”? An annual membership to the Sweet Life Society would be just the ticket! The recipient would get access all year long to an extensive printable library, monthly challenges designed to reduce stress and add peace to the home, and a supportive community of women who work together to get the best things done. Learn more here!
Stasher Bags
Reusable bags like these Stasher bags are an eco-friendly alternative to Ziiplock baggies. I love the ones that are gusseted and can stand up on their own! Stasher also has a collection of more decorative bags that would be great for putting baked treats in and giving as ready-to-eat gifts! You can find all the options here.
Recipe Freezer Cards & Freezer Bag Holders
This is one of my very favorite items in this gift guide. It’s created by Passionate Penny Pinchers and it’s a set of 12 weeks of freezer meal recipes and prep cards. This kit truly comes with everything – even a grocery list for each week! You use the big card to prep the freezer meal in one bag. It’s recommended that you double bag your freezer meal and drop the corresponding business card sized card in between the first and second bag. It has any instructions you need for the day-of prep of the meal. These would be great to pair with a set of freezer bag holders that make filling the freezer bags super easy! What an amazing gift this would be to receive! You can grab it here.
Circle & Square Decor
I love wall calendars! But sometimes a single month just isn’t enough room – especially when my team is planning out content for I Heart Planners. This two month calendar board solves that problem! You can get it personalized with your name at the top or left blank, and you can choose the type of frame that you’d like to make sure it matches the decor. It’s a sizable item, and a bit pricy, but would be used over and over again! I highly recommend the option that comes with the chalk markers and the days of the month magnets – it’ll be a complete set that’s ready to go! There are all sorts of options that you can shop for here.
Becca’s Workbooks
I really enjoy handlettering. It’s a great activity that I can do while the kids are crafting. I’m not necessarily a pro, but it’s become a favorite hobby. Becca from The Happy Ever Crafter is your go to girl for learning how to hand letter, and a set of her workbooks would be a great way to help anyone learn the art of handlettering. She’s covered everything from lowercase and uppercase letters to numbers, punctuation, connecting letters – even flourishes! Pair this with some brush pens and tracing paper so the recipient can enjoy them over and over again. Grab the full set here.
Owala
Everyone can use a good water bottle, and the Free Sip Bottle from Owala is one of my very favorites! It’s vacuum insulated so your drink will stay cold all week long, and it comes in tons of bright colors or a super unique all white design. But what really makes the bottle unique is the Free Sip Technology that combines a straw with a regular, tip-up-the-bottle drinking style. You can drink both ways out of the same opening. Check out these super cool bottles here.
Days of the Week Towels
I had had my eye on these for so long before I finally took the plunge and bought them for myself. It’s a set of seven hand towels – one for each day of the week. They’re classy and they’re fun and they’d make a unique gift! Find them here.
Letterboard Letters
Do you have a friend who is a letterboard queen? This Promenade set of flourishes for letterboards would make the perfect stocking stuffer! They add just a little bit of flair to any letterboard and come with a variety of designs. You can grab a pack here.
Smith Family Doormat
Personalized gifts are so special because they were literally made for the recipient! I’m loving this doormat – it adds that welcoming touch to our front door. There are a variety of sizes and styles available that you can explore here.
Chalk Couture
Chalk Couture is a DIY project that is truly easy! Even my kids were able to help. If you’ve never heard of Chalk Couture before, it’s simply stencils, chalk paste, and a board. You lay down the stencil on the board, smear the paste over top, and remove the stencil to see your newly chalked design! They even have a subscription kit that will send you a new design and some paste every month – I think that would be a lovely gift to receive. You can shop around the options here.
Rubbermaid food storage containers
You know you’re officially old when you have a favorite food storage container. But my, oh my, do I ever have a favorite! These Rubbermaid food storage containers are incredibly high quality with a tight seal and sturdy sides, and the stack so well. I simply love them and own probably a few more than is truly necessary. This is an item I’d highly recommend grabbing one for yourself and one for a friend! You can find them here.
Hopefully these ideas will brighten the day of the homebody in your life! Happy shopping!
