Deck the Hauls: Home Edit from Walmart
I am so in love with the Home Edit products offered at Walmart. They are priced so affordably! It's an awesome value, and it's great that they're offering some products at such an accessible price point. If you bought these elsewhere, it would cost sooo much more! I've posted a Home Edit Haul video before, and I'm back for round two! Keep reading to check out what I bought this time around or watch the video here.
Hangers
I have always said that having matching hangers is the fastest way to make your closet look streamlined and organized! Literally all you have to do is re-hang your clothes on matching hangers, and no matter what you choose, it will look so much better!
Just check out this before and after, and the only difference is the matching hangers:
I love the look of these hangers as well. The wood is a really nice touch, and they feel so sturdy. The metal has a plastic coating, so it doesn't feel like anything would rub off on your clothing, and there's a nice little notch on top to keep straps in place so things don't fall off.
Headband
So this isn't exactly an organizing item, but Joanna from the Home Edit is always wearing a headband. It's so cute how they've made this part of their line at Walmart! I actually don't have a single other headband, and I'm not totally sure how I feel about them…but I decided to give it a try! If you are into headbands, they have a great organizer for them, too!
Large Acrylic Bins
These are some of the largest bins I've seen. They are stackable, and they have a nice lip to keep them in place. Not a lot of shelves are as deep as they are long, so most of the time they would be turned sideways on a shelf, but I really do like the stacking feature, and they're great for larger items.
Desk Organizer
Okay, I'm definitely in love with this one! It makes my modular-loving heart go pitter-patter! There are removable inserts that subdivide the bins, and they are the same size as the multi-purpose insert bins, so you can totally change out the dividers, and rearrange and combine to your heart's content! This desk organizer is really customizable so you can make a configuration that's exactly what you need.
Narrow Bin with Slider Tray
These are great for a shallower shelf, like maybe in a pantry, or in an office drawer. The coolest part is that the bin has a little slider tray that you can buy to. go on top. You could stick smaller items like post-its or paper clips on top and slide back and forth to access what's in the bin underneath.
Home Organization Labels
As most of you know, I love to cut out my own labels from vinyl. I prefer the look of just the vinyl where it's not an obvious sticker. However, if you don't have a cutting machine, or if you just don't want to deal with the expense or hassle (picking off the extra vinyl around that label can be a total pain!), then these labels might be just what you need.
You can still kind of see that it's a sticker with the clear part, but it's definitely a step up from some other labeling options, and it does give a nice uniform look, as long as the labels come in what you need, They're also removable and water-resistant, so they should hold up well.
Drawers
This is a new item in their line, and I'm loving it! They are stackable, and there's also a catch within the drawer to keep it from falling out. If you see yourself wanting to take the drawers out often, that can be a negative. But having stuff spill all over because a drawer falls out on accident is awful, am I right?
I love how the office and desk organizer pieces fit inside here perfectly. This means it's almost exactly the same size as their multi-purpose bins. Modular systems are just the BEST for customization. I could see these being used under a sink or in a closet to store things like socks or underwear.
Overall, I think they nailed it with the latest additions to the Home Edit line at Walmart! This is my second Home Edit haul, and as much as like what I bought here, I may like the items from my first haul even better. Go here to watch the video on my first haul, or check out the blog post here.
