Merry Christmas Cookies
Merry Christmas, everyone!
From all of us here at I Heart Planners, we wish you a joyful holiday season with loved ones, lots of laughter, and a few extra sprinkles!
Speaking of sprinkles, here is a delicious christmas cookie you can wow your party guests with (or just eat all of them yourself!)
Holiday Cookies
- 2 sticks + 2 tablespoons of butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Peppermint Hershey’s Kisses
Preheat Oven to 350.
Cream sugar, butter, and cocoa powder.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Slowly combine dry mixture with butter mixture. The dough will be crumbly.
Form balls by hand and make a small indention with your thumb in the center of the dough. Bake for seven to eight minutes. Places kisses as soon as you remove the cookies from the oven. Leave cookies on the sheet to allow kisses to melt slightly, I like to push them down a bit after about a minute to get the melted chocolate spread over more of the cookie.
Remove from sheet and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container and enjoy!
